Parkland Transmission is a Community Leader
We’ve been proudly serving the Red Deer community for over 30 years, and we love adding value to the place we call home. In response to our loyal community that has supported our business, we always seek to return the favor. We have sponsored a Peewee AA hockey team for 17 years and counting. Other youth and sports oriented programs that we are involved in have included Safety City, Red Deer Minor Softball, Red Deer Vipers Junior B hockey club, and their scholarship program. We have also been proponents of Red Deer’s In-line hockey games, and the former PeeWee Christmas hockey tournament. There are several other humanitarian efforts to which we give our support. We have been a part of furthering the causes of such charitable organization as The Sutter Fund, United Way, Food Bank, and Stars Ambulance. Cultivating life skills is an important part of Parkland Transmission’s goal to give back to its community. By helping numerous youths to travel to further their life skills, through sports and youth group programs, we continue to enhance our future.
Not only are we a highly engaged company, but we also encourage our staff to follow suit. There is nothing like the one-on-one interaction with our family of customers. Parkland Transmission employees take support one step further by showing up to various events, as a way of getting involved in the community. Our staff has volunteered for a variety of responsibilities, including coaching, cadets, church and school events, Safety City, Habitat for Humanity, Vipers board of directors, Red Deer Boxing club, and Alberta Apprenticeship Board. Scott continues to lead the team in this capacity, serving on the ATRA board of directors for the past five years.
